Who is OEF Prepper?

My mission

I created OEF Prepper for many reasons. Mainly because I wanted to step into the prepper-sphere that is the exciting and growing online world to contribute my thoughts and experience to those looking for additional education, skill building, or having a different perspective to aid them in their preparedness journey.

My vision

Ideally, I want to create grow my channel and my brand to host community engagement events, instructor lead courses, social media hangouts and collaborations, and to eventually establish my own training center to be a beacon to those who want to be serious about upgrading and testing their gear, bodies, and minds to best prepare them for whatever may come.

About OEF Prepper

Being a combat veteran from the OEF campaign during the War on Terror, I bring a unique and experienced skillset and character to the preparedness community. I am a Marine Corps veteran with 12 years of experience in combat arms. I was a 1371, or a Combat Engineer. As a combat engineer, I was trained by hardened and tested combat veterans in tactics and mindsets that were successful and time-tested through years of combat in theater in Afghanistan and Iraq. I was trained in counter-terrorism, CQB (close-quarters battle), urban breaching, conventional breaching, mechanical breaching, defense operations, construction, site and area reconnaissance, pistol and rifle fundamentals to advanced manipulation techniques, patrolling, establishing and holding security perimeters, advanced defensive driving, battle planning and operational risk management, cultural and community engagement, counter mine-IED, mine emplacement, radios and communications, defense-in-depth structuring, fast roping, survival swimming and a little more.

I am NOT a special forces operator, nor do I claim to be. I am the real deal, boots on the deck, grunt-proof hard ass that likes to teach and share some knowledge to those who care.

Outside of being a Marine, I do hold a bachelors in IT Network Engineering and Cyber Security. I was a data center technician for two years, I also worked for a cloud company for a year as well to upgrade my skills and learn on the job and in the industry.
I was a firearms instructor for a few years, while working full time and taught a few dozen concerned citizens on how to use a firearm safely and how to defend themselves if needed. I have always had a hustle mindset and do enjoy having many hobbys and love being a business owner or having the autonomy and an outlet to keep my creative juices flowing.

I do keep my identity secret for my own choices. I like being a quiet professional, having my personal and professional lives separate and having personal and family privacy. I you do find out who I am, please keep it to yourself.
